The highly acclaimed Hampton Designer Showhouse will return this Fall 2021 to Southampton, NY with a one-of a kind historic restoration presented by HC&G (Hamptons Cottages & Gardens). For the past 21 years, The Hampton Designer Showhouse has been the showcase for some of America’s premier design talent and has raised nearly $2M for Stony Brook Southampton Hospital over the years.

“We are very excited to work with Hampton Designer Showhouse Foundation, Inc. again on the annual Hampton Designer Showhouse,” states Robert Chaloner, Chief Administrative Officer of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.  “Not only will the Showhouse be back for in-person visits, but also the Showhouse will be located in the Village of Southampton in a beautiful historic home.  We look forward to hosting a most exciting Showhouse this September 2021.”

“Showhouses are always exciting and inspiring,” says HC&G Editorial Director Kendell Cronstrom, “but I’m especially excited about this one because of the historic-preservation component. Parts of the house date from the 1830s, and the entire structure has undergone a sensitive renovation and expansion, which adds another layer of challenge to our extremely talented group of designers.”

The Hampton Designer Showhouse, with renowned designers Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton as the Honorary Design Chairs, will feature more than 20 top interior designers from the Hamptons, New York City and nationwide. They will transform a magnificent, historic Hampton House from the 1830s into a decorating modern masterpiece. Originally part of the Wooley Estate, the historic house is designated a contributing resource to the Village, and as such, will feature the original 1835 front porch design complete with Italianate brackets and swan spirals. While adhering to the strict façade guidelines, the renovation will also include over 7,000 sq feet of living space, plus multiple outdoor spaces, an expansive pool and free-standing pool house. The home is generously provided by Jason Khan and Juan Londono with Audrey Gruss graciously serving as the Honorary Preview Party Chair.

The Hampton Designer Showhouse, centrally located at 1 Wooley Street in Southampton, NY, will open with a preview party at the Showhouse on Saturday, September 18, 2021.  Tickets are $225.  The Showhouse will be open daily for public tours Sunday, September 19, 2021, to Sunday, October 31, 2021.   Showhouse hours will be as follows: Monday through Sunday, 11:00am – 5:00pm (last admission 30 minutes before closing).  Children six and under, infants, strollers and pets are not admitted in the Showhouse. Admission to the Showhouse is $40 and includes a copy of the Showhouse Journal.  For tickets to the opening party and/or the daily run of the Showhouse, visit www.hamptondesignershowhouse.com or email info@hamptondesignershowhouse.com.  Admission to the Showhouse will comply with all New York State guidelines for health and safety and are subject to change.
